Many donors have asked about the life of The Casa. It’s actually quite “normal” as the Family knows it since they have grown up on it. Specifically, it’s no different than the fundamentals a family outside The Casa experience.
The Family are responsible for each other and asked to perform all the tasks in any family. Maestra has instilled a culture of Family, Caring and Grace upon each family member. It’s clear each Family Member understands and embraces her teaching and theology. Maestra is the Matriarch and Guiding Light for each Family Member. Our Mission is to support her vision and specifically follow her guidance in this amazing journey. BYMF is blessed to be a part of this journey with Maestra leading the way.
Activities of the children
• Main Stream School is for all children. The Casa Family attends public school along with the children in the community. They have the same educational access as other children not in The Casa.
• Home Study After School Programs. Maestra has certified Teach volunteers who assist the children of all ages with their respective learning curriculum as defined by the public school sector.
• Musical Instrument and Choir Instruction. Various Family members have expressed interest in learning instruments. Various organizations outside of The Case sponsor them to assist with their dreams of playing and singing for everyone.
• Family Support • The Casa is a Family home. All family members assist with all chores which include cleaning, washing, laundry, caring for one another and supporting each other. This is no different than any home outside The Casa.
